Welcome in this oasis of serenity. I love old cemetaries. So that's why i create this blog. Beautiful statues (stone angels), old tombstones and peaceful quietness invite you to reflect on life and death. No, i am not tired of life, i don't wanna die yet, but i love this melancholic feeling i get when wandering about these places. The mystery of life and death. Wander with me.......

hi momo luna, i love the combination of imagery and words you display here. The dreamy darkness, decay, beauty, and mystery of life and death are so well woven...
Beautiful.

A late response but i was ill (flu), getting better now. :-D Your welcome Yvette and welcome.
Thank you for your sweet comment Karin. I try to make this a place of silent beauty and meditation.
Thank you sweet Renee. Hug!
So do i Shana and this lady has such a strong emotion engraved upon her face: dignified but with a slight amusement as well.....
Hi Momo Luna
These images are hauntingly beautiful and inspire me greatly. I particularly appreciate the way in which you weave the words with the visuals...stunning and powerful.
Thank you!!
Wonderful blog, thoughtful words. There is a resonance here. -Jayne
There is this wonderful little Gothic Church,
with weathered stone and a red door I visit
every other Sunday. What is so fascinating is
that the church is in the middle of an old
cemetery. I get such a melancholy feeling when
I attend services and at night it just down
right other-wordly.
Great concept for a blog, Luna.
Hello Merci,
